You did great. The medication did what it was desinged to do. It takes the edge off. Everyone reacts a bit differently to these types of medications.

But, you did it. This problem is behind you. That is awesome. The healing process will be fairly quick, with a minimum of discomfort that over the counter pain meds will take care of.

I think I'll get around to properly enjoying it when I can eat normally again. I haven't been able to eat normally for a month, ever since my tooth cracked and the whole nightmare started!!!! I'm waiting for my gum to heal and feel vaguely normal again before I'll even contemplate something like a steak.
