I am in the process of getting my bottom teeth removed and fitted for immediate dentures. I am very afraid of the whole situation. I have had lots of dental work done, but my teeth are so bad, that I only have the front bottom 6 teeth left. I have had the first impressions made, and go back August 3rd for the wax fitting? The dentist I am going to is fairly nice, except when it comes to extractions. He was patient and wonderful during my last visit in which he did 3 root canals and some fillings on the top, but I also had to have a molar removed that day, and it just freaks me out to have teeth pulled, the pressure and noise scare me. He got very impatient with me. I went back 3 days ago to have my 3 new crowns put in where he did the root canals, and just him popping the temporary teeth out hurt and he wasn't nice about it at all. My gums were very sore from the temp teeth to begin with still, and he just got aggrivated with me because i was nervous. It worries me about getting the 6 removed as they do not provide being put to sleep or laughing gas. I am also very worried after reading all of the posts that they will not fit or look right. I understand i will have to have them adjusted, but I am a hairdresser and I work with the public everyday. I do not want them to fall out or not being able to talk right. I read to use bonding for them, but how soon after i have them pulled can I use it? Any Advice for a very nervous 39 yr old mom of 3?
