Thanks for the story!! Yes I enjoyed the walk it was good to get out with a very good friend and talk things through.

The holes seem to be healing ok and the only pain i've got is a stiff jaw around my temples. It feels quite stiff to open my mouth. Hasn't stopped me talking at full speed though. Think this is probably just from getting the teeth out.

At least the taste of clove oil seems to be going away at last. It was particularly disgusting!

Not entirely convinced everything is healing ok. Maybe i'm just being paranoid. The right side just doesn't feel right. The bottom socket feels weird and the top gum feels painful. My jaw is really stiff and it's like the muscles in my face and too tense all the time.

Maybe I need to give it more time. I have a bad feeling though.

Hi Sparks the jaw and face aching thing may take a bit more time yet. I think that bit is totally normal. Your muscles need a bit more time yet. The other bit I don't know about, is the pain getting less, what feels weird.

I think i'm maybe just over-reacting. I think the weird feeling is the gum healing over I don't know. I'm not very good at describing things, it hurts but is not agony. I will give it until Monday and see how it is then. If it's not better then i'll email mike.

I've had a really tough few days with other things going on as well so unfortunately have done a lot of crying which to be honest hasn't helped cause I keep having to blow my nose which hurts my mouth! So I suppose the answer is to stop crying!

Never mind onwards and upwards as they say.

Oh and I have just noticed a whole section on here under the dentist question heading called Wisdom Teeth!! Has this always been there or just been added How could I not notice this before

Hi Sparkles, I am sorry you have had a rough few days sending hugs I guess you need to smile more and cry less, so have you read the jokes on the I am wondering how I could make you smile so I will tell you about my daughter Daisy. The other day she was in a fowl mood all day being cheeky, slamming doors being argumentative about anything basically a fairly typical 15 year old. She has had a nasty cough at night time so we got her some medicine and on this particular day after calling us all of the horrible names you can think of, it got to bedtime and she came to me with the medicine bottle and very sheepishly asked me to "do the train thing". So I had to pour the medicine into the spoon and pretend it was a train going in the tunnel. It was kind of hard to stay angry with one another after that. question- do they ever grow up ? I hope there is a little smile coming through now

carol999 I read on another thread that you didn't know when to use the mouthwash the dentist gave you, I was told by the dentist I saw to use a mouthwash at dinner time, not when I was brushing as one wipes the other out. The toothpaste needs to do it's work in the morning, mouthwash at dinner time, and night brushing again. I don't know if this helps you, but you could try it.

Sorry to hear you have not been so good Sparkles - how are you feeling today? Since having my extractions, - and this is the only way I can describe it - it feels as if I have rolls of cotton wool stuffed inside my upper and lower jaw. It has lessened over time, but the feeling is still there, and that is quite a few weeks down the line. I will mention it when I go back next week, but I have put it down to the fact that Lincoln said the extractions were difficult ones and deep rooted??

I hope it eases for you, along with the other issues you have been having that have made you cry

You know where I am hunni if you need, and in the meantime, sending my favourite ones of these little beauties
