Surgical removal

Well since I came in here I have now had the novacaine ( or whatever it is twice) and I lived had 5 fillings with 3 to go but next week is a surgical removal. I have infection too Im afraid what should I expect, this is a root canal tooth with a crown and theres hardly a tooth. Once I get through this the rest should be a piece of cake!

It is difficult answering without knowing the clinical situation. For sure you should not feel any pain during the procedure. With sufficient anesthesia you should not feel also any applied pressure.
I sugges you write and email to your dentist, and ask what you have asked us (your dentist knows best) and also ask about the post-operative healing.
