Yes I do. I use Italian seasoned bread crumbs and add a little more grated Parmesan to the bread crumbs. Then I put those chops in the fridge for awhile.......I think it helps the crumbs to adhere better. Then I use some good quality margarine (you could use butter, but use low heat on your skillet) a good gob of it and start sauteing some sliced white or yellow onions. Then as the onions are sauteing, you add the breaded pork chops (I usually use boneless and give them a bit of a pound with a meat mallet or a heavy drinking glass before you bread them). Of course as the onions are getting tender, you take them out, add some more for the rest of the chops. I save them and serve them on top of the chops. The onions give the chops a wonderful flavor and I promise you won't smell piggy. I usually serve this with a veggie, some kind of rice pilaf and cinnamon applesauce.
This is probably my hubby's favorite dish, and my son's too.
Life is a trip. I'm going to do my best to enjoy it!
That sounds really scrummy Jen - I will have to give that one a go, so thanks for that xx
Well it's been a couple of days since I have properly posted on here, so I am back again.
The 'debris' is still firmly in my gum and not disappearing any more, it is just sitting there quite comfortably in its own little world, so I am hoping that it either does come out of its own accord, or at least that it doesn't do it's disappearing act before I go back to see Lincoln again next Friday
I just got a telephone call from the service manager of the hospital where Ali had her operation in relation to the complaint I put in about not being able to get an earlier appointment other than the end of the month!! I cannot even remember how many weeks ago it was that I complained now, but the upshot is that the Consultant is fully booked up, but if I felt that Alison still needed to be seen, she would tell him he has to see her and that is that. So I have taken her up on her offer, and we go next Wednesday to see him - just a mere 8 weeks and one day after she had her operation, and she is still bleeding and still can't sit down, so it is a bit of a relief that finally the person who conducted the surgery is the person who can now answer the question that we have regarding why it is taking so long to heal - especially as the paperwork that has come with it says that she should be more or less healed and able to function properly within two weeks!!
Me ol' 'mucker' is now back from her holidays now, and she is a welcome return - her postcard arrived here todayI daresay Carol will be on here when she gets a chance to let us know how she got on.
I went out to my hypermarket yesterday for a few bits and bobs and hubby asked me to get a case of beer that was on offer. I''ll let you into the secret in case any of you are planning a BBQ for this weekendIt is in Sainsbury's and is 20 bottles of Becks down from £19 to £10
Anyway, I picked up a case from the display where all these signs were saying what the deal was, and toddled off to the checkout with my other few bits and bobs.
Did my usual 'reckie' of the checkout operators to see who looked as if they didn't have much interest in their customers, and so who would be less likely to want to start up a conversation with meAnd I have even mastered the art of going past the operator's display and saying my hello there, as they cant at that point see me

So my choice was right, the lady just put the items through and I put them in my trolley. However, just as she scanned the beers I happened to look at the price as they went through and it come up at £13.99 - hmmmmmmm not what all the offer posters were saying. So then my heart starts beating as I know I am either going to have to swallow paying the higher price (not) or strike up a very uncomfortable conversationSo, here goes, I asked her if they had gone through on the offer, and she said no, so hand firmly over my mouth, I asked could they be exchanged for the offer pack. What had happened, is they had put cases of 15 bottles all on the display, but put the labels with the offer all over them! Anyway, a very nice guy exchanged them for me, and the lady was a real sweety, as she just apologised, and I think realised that I was uncomfortable with something and just smiled kindly at me, so thank you kind lady for not making me any more conscious than I already was
So my stress levels were pretty damn high yesterday until I got back into the confines and safety of my own four walls once more
So, until I venture back there again on Sunday, I can breath a sigh of relief![]()

Kim (12th August 2012)
Well, what a night I had last night - in a good way - my hubby was on the last of his night shifts, and it was a 12 hour one so he toddled off at 5.30pm to start at 6.30pm. My son went out round to his mates, so that just left me and my daughter.
I am not a fan of much sport to be fair, but I have to admit, there have been certain parts of the Olympics that I have really got into, cycling, swimming, diving and running to name but a few. So last night we had our peppered steak dinner and watch young Thomas Daley get his bronze award - what a gracious winner, and he seems to be a real lovely lad (with fantastic teeth I might add), and then Mo Farah also - brilliant, I was extremely emotional watching those two guys I must say.
Then I whipped my daughter with the bowling on her WiiSuch a laugh - I was exhausted by the end of it all lol.
Got up today and went to get a couple of bits and pieces, and when I got back I was getting out of the car and smashed my elbow on the corner of the door - ouch did that hurtAnd now it is really tender and looks like a boney bit sticking out - maybe its the debris from my mouth having relocated - NOT that is still sitting firmly in my gum
and getting closer to my appointment with Lincoln
I got myself a new knife into the bargain. I got it home and was trying to get that really tough plastic cut off from it, and was just thinking to myself how dangerous this stuff is because I had already scratched myself with it when I was tugging at it and whoosh - the serrated blade went right into my thumbOh boy, then the blood started, and I felt so stupid, that I didn't call anyone to help
I grabbed some tissue and applied pressure - tho' I have it in my head somewhere, that you are not supposed to do that anymore - but it seemed like a good idea at the time - the fact that I take aspirin for my BP makes me bleed more, and all of a sudden, my head started to spin
Quickly bent over and began the deep breaths 'in through the nose and out through the mouth'. What a plonker
Am ok now tho', just can't look at it
So I think I am going to have to be extra careful today me thinks - not going too well at the moment - perhaps I should just go and break something to get the third thing out of the way - but knowing my luck today, it will probably be my neck
Am going out in the kitchen in a bit to make a cottage pie, that will be for tomorrow, and will be having chicken, salad and garlic potatoes today yum![]()
When you are bleeding you are also supposed to elevate the area. I am not sure you should go back into the kitchen it is evidently a war zone !!! The safest place for you today is bed I think.
Thanks for that nurse Carol - I am going to head in there in a minute or two - so be ready with the plasters when I come out lol - what are you having for dinner today hun?
