Infection for a week what should I do?

Hi there! So I'm pretty sure I have an infection where my lower right wisdom tooth was removed about two months ago, as pus has been coming from the site. I've been on antibiotics for about three days but the pus has showed no signs of subsiding. Has it been long enough for the antibiotics to kick in? The site doesn't really hurt anymore but I really just want to get rid of the infection. I'm terrified the oral surgeon will have to open the site up again. Should I go see my oral surgeon or just keep riding out the infection with the antibiotics?

If it's been three days with no change, I'd go see your oral surgeon again. Sometimes they need to change to the antibiotic to something else if the one you're on isn't effective.
