Re: Any Tips to Remove Denture Adhesive from Mouth

Hi there :)

found this on the web:

"Rinsing with extremely warm water or salt water helps removal. It may be necessary to use a soft toothbrush or wash cloth-like material to assist removal from the mouth tissues."

and:

"To remove residue from your dentures, use a denture cleanser. To remove residue from your mouth, gums, tongue, and palate, brush the roof of your mouth and gums with a soft-bristled toothbrush, toothpaste, and comfortably hot water."

Don't know if this helps...

Hi
just make sure you aren't putting too much fixative on the dentures. If these are new they should fit pretty well and should really need any fixative. Just try reducing the amount and find out what's the smallest amount you need. It can be a worry with new dentures that they are going to fall out which cen be embarassing but try not to over do it with the "glue"
