In that case the lab should easily be able to trim off the excess areas and repolish it. Make sure that you mention how you feel about it to your dentist.
It's a lot more difficult to sort it if you're just getting a reline by the dentist.

After a second reline (to fix the horrible mistakes of the first one) I can say that this particular problem has been fixed.
Unfortunately the bit is STILL way off (though nothing as ridiculous as it was the first time). So I'm not nearly done getting them right, but there's some very nice light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm hoping that's the light at the end of the tunnel, anyway.
