hi all,
I did find a dentist close by who does offer N2O, and he got some
good reviews on the internet. He's not ridiculously expensive:
$150 for cleaning exam x-ray and then $80 more for the N2O.
So I might wait until I can afford that. but the thing is, I'm also
interested in one called Discount Dental that does it for $50,
and they don't offer N2O but they do offer halcion.
The receptionist at that place told me that Halcion will sedate
me into sleep. I didn't know it was that strong. Is it true?
This might be a better option, because if I find good inexpensive
dentist, then I would be more likely to get my teeth cleaned
more often, and it seems I will need that.
I did read that link from the last thread I started about oral sedatives
and saw Halcion in the chart there, but it doesn't say how strong
this med gets.
Thanks guys.
PS: going by the sample of dentists I called today, I'd say
the rate of dentists that offer N2O might be more like 20%.
One of them told me only specialists do that. I dunno.
