      Default Germany - Recommended Dentists

Here is a list of website and dentist reviews (mainly by English-speaking expats living in Germany on an internet forum) for anyone looking for a caring dentist in Germany:

      Cologne:
      1. 'I have been going to actually the best dentist I have ever gone to anywhere. His web site is: http://www.dr-meyer-koeln.de
He is very very good, does precise work that lasts and really does not hurt - which is more than I can say for most of the dentists around here.
I've been going to him for about 15 years. He is very expensive, but to me it's worth it.
He did a complete update on my teeth about 12 years ago (I was biting wrong and my teeth were breaking) - cost a fortune but I haven't had any problems with them since.'

'When i lived in cologne I went for check ups with Mathias Sommer. He's German but speaks decent English. certainly enough for discussing dental stuff anyway and he's very friendly. Nice little praxis. I've no idea about the pediatric side though'.

www.praxis-may.com'I've been living in Cologne for five years and could recently find a good dentist. I can absolutely recommend Dr. Jochen May in the south-east Cologne, he speaks - among other foreign languages - fluent English and is extremely kind and competent.
Though I am usually quite scared about going to the dentist, I actually quite enjoyed my last appointments. If you're interested, just have a look at his website in english.

It's the 21st Century.......dentistry can and should be painless but we patients come unstuck because all dentists are not created equal
