pain in my gum

could one of the dentists please advise me please

i have pain in my upper right inside gum, no swelling, but gum feels very rough and it feels like bits of my gum are coming off, am using anbesol gel and that seems to help with the pain

what could be wrong, not seeing a dentist until next thursday

Can't tell without seeing it, sorry. Could be a burn from what you describe, but that's my best guess...
