Hi Everyone....
I'm new here and I apologize if this question has been addressed numerous times before.
I am due to get my teeth cleaned for the first time in about 6 years next month. I know, bad girl.
In the past few months, I have developed an extreme sensitivity at the gum line of one of my incisors, especially when scraping with any sort of dental device. It almost feels like a raw, exposed nerve sort of pain.
Will they be able to give me anything to help numb this spot during my cleaning? Or am I destined to jump out of my skin once they scrape this spot?
Thanks very much in advance.
