I think talking to your dentist about the options would be a great idea .

Re. the pain, as the others have already said in your other thread, please do give your dental practice a call as soon as possible !!! (just to be on the safe side - even if you're not in pain now)

I am in pain on and off still, but i wont be able to get to the dentist until monday now
