My dentist told me it should be about a week to 10 days til the gum is healed over but longer for the bone underneath to heal itself. Although it depends on you as a person, I am not expecting for my gums to be healed that quick as I am a slow healer and I have had an infection in there (on antibiotics now but infection will have slowed things down I expect).
If you are worried you could ask your dentist to take a look maybe.
