3 months ago i had a lower molar extracted , it all healed up fine with no infection etc.Just lately i get a sharp pain if anything presses against the gum where the tooth is missing , there is no swelling or redness , and only get a pain if i bite on the area.Is this still possibly part of the healing or is it likely to need examination , thanks in advance

It sounds pretty normal. Sometimes the bony socket around the extraction area is quite sharp, when you press down the gum onto it, it's likely to dig in a bit and cause pain. Usually the bone remodels itself in time and the feelings subside.

thank you for the advice!

How long does it normally take for the "remodeling"? I had my bottom wisdom tooth removed 2 weeks ago and just yesterday I started feeling like something sharp is there whenever my tongue is pushing the gum. This means it's painful to eat and if talking for too long.
