Default in the dark

had 2 bottom teeth pulled on bottom rt heard alot of cracking on the last root it didn't want to come then he stitched me had dull ache for a week he took out stitches and packed it w/some kind of medicine?? cloves and??? went back next day he took them out and re-stuffed w/more said for me to take out today also noticed it was still tender when he changed them plus he pressed real hard and the hole looks bigger now what is he keeping from me and what is he doing? still tender and sore today i haven't removed the clove things yet but even though i took antibiotics did i still get an infection or what's going on and how long will this prolong my chances of a dry socket possibility? what can i do other that salt water rinses that hurt to expedite the recovery process to be able to eat and function normally again w/out worry no teeth will be replacing these can't afford and insurance only extracts?

I'm new to this site and just reading the posts. So how did you make out with your dental surgery? Are you ok now? I'm scared to even go. So I'm trying to get up some nerve by reading other people's stories.

if he was packing the socket with the cloves.. sounds like you had DRY SOCKET ...least from all my readings .. that is what they do when someone is suffering from dry socket.. maybe he pro actively packed it in the event you did get one ?

you will be fine .. the clove packing is there to help ease the pain and help the socket heal ..
