Smile All done and it feels great!

I have finally got my turn to post my SUCCESS STORY!

Well the time had finally come for my appointment at 10am today, and i was really nervous about the whole thing, about what i might hear and feel, about having the needles as i HATE them, etc...
I was sat in the waiting room with my mum and auntie for support, waited about 20mins and then the dentists assistant came down to get me, this is when the nerves really started to kick in! She asked if i would like to go up on my own or if i wanted my mum to come up with me which she did. I walked in the room and started to cry it had all got too much, after a couple of minutes i sat down in the chair. There was 3 in the room, the oral surgeon, his assistant and the lovely lady who was monitoring me for the IV Sedation. I asked her if she was going to stay in the room with me because she made me feel better and she did which i felt good about. She was really nice telling me everything was goin to be ok and that i would be surprised how easy it was going to be. It was time for my 1st needle the sedation, it went in so easy and all i felt was a pin prick that didnt even really hurt (thank god!). Then the oral surgeon left the room for a couple of minutes to go and set someone else up for sedation and while he was gone i was comforted by my mum and the nice lady, she asked me if i wanted her to keep my teeth for me which she did. Oral surgeon returned an then the sedation drug was started which was fine, no pain, no funny feeling. Then my mum left the room and waited in the waiting room with my auntie. I remember having 4 needles in my mouth which were just a scratch, to my surprise i was completely fine with it even though i am petrified of needles i didnt mind 1 bit. Then i dont remember anything for what seemed like a minute until i heard 'nice lady' say that the 1st tooth was out, then i was gone again and i dont remember anything else until it was over. The gauze was already in my mouth and she was putting a bit of Vaseline on my lips because they were dry. She called my mum in and let me come round for a minute then helped me into a little room with a tv where my mum and auntie had been waiting. She popped back in about 5-10mins later to change my gauze and then i was ready to go home. I really cant believe it was as easy as that! When i finally came round properly at home i asked how long i was in there, my mum said that after she left the room after my sedation was started it was 10.47am and they came out at 11.07am to tell her i was all done!! 20 minutes which felt like 5 minutes for 4 wisdom teeth with 2 impacted. They were all brilliant and the dental surgery, even the receptionist.
Right now i am at home all the numbness has gone and the sedation has wore off. I am taking co-codemol for any pain i have which is some jaw ache and some swelling but that is nothing compared to the great feeling i have that it is ALL OVER!!
I also received some lovely flowers from my brother and his fiance this afternoon to cheer me up

I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to 'GrahamDee' 'JessicaB' 'nosmokin2' and 'soscaredbackagain' who all replied back to my 1st post and i dont think i would have gone through with it if it wasnt for u guys and this site. Truly Amazing!
