Hi.

For me my favorite is Nitrous Oxide for any procedure an hour or longer. Actually if the procedure involves the drill I'll need the nitrous too.

Never tried oral sedation.

I've had IV sedation once for extractions. Probably if I ever need more extractions I'll need IV sedation, but cost is an issue also.

I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do, I'd try the nitrous oxide for it. I've done without it for 4 root canals in the past, because I had no choice, but now I'd definitely have it.

Having a good dentist who is caring and a good assistant does help me, even though I dont enjoy going to dentist, I first went when I was just under one and been going every 6 months. I still fear the dentist
