Hello!
I am getting all of my teeth (26) pulled in a month. I'll be under IV sedation but I am SO SCARED. Can't breathe, chest hurts, scared! Is there anyone who has had multiple teeth pulled that can tell me what to expect. I'm so nervous I'm considering canceling my appointment.
Thank you.

Hi,
In a month I have an appointment to get all of my remaining teeth pulled. I am so scared that just thinking about it makes it hard to breathe. My main concerns are:
Will i feel or hear anything under sedation?
How bad will it hurt after?
I was given no option for an immediate denture, is that bad?
I'm only 25 is my face going to get all droopy?
I'm so scared if anyone can help it would be so greatly appreciated.

Hi. Obligatory not a dentist.

I do know that my friend went through your same situation, and she is loving life.

Nowadays they look 100 % natural. Good luck.

Not a dentist, but I have had sedation as a teenager, and wasn’t aware of anything - it was a bit like being drunk, able to communicate and respond to commands, but mostly pleasantly out of it.

Have you sought another opinion to check none of your teeth are salvageable?

I know many people have experienced this on the forum. I encourage you to browse the journal section and success stories as I believe several people have posted about their experiences there with a similar procedure. I will try to search and see if I can link a few threads here for you.

Yes. I've been to 3 different dentists that all agree.
