5 days post extraction

Hi, I’m 5 days post extraction and all was going well until today. Just soreness around the site.
However today, I’m in a bit of pain. Nothing terrible so I don’t think dry socket but sensitive when I’m salt water rinsing and just a general dull ache. Is this normal?

Sure it is, there's a fair bit of healing going on, lots of remodelling bone, white cells are charging about dealing with any invading bacteria, gum re-forming.

@Gordon thanks Gordon. It’s settling down now. I did get it checked yesterday and I have lots of tiny ulcers which probably isn’t helping!
