Hey.

If you want full back story I have posted it previously.

Short - I had my first ever dentist appointment last week (I’m 25). I then had a full mouth X-ray (I get the results soon).

From what I gather so far I have 6 retained roots that need extracting.
2 upper left
1 lower left
2 upper right
1 lower right.

Will these all be taken in one go? Will I be put to sleep to have them taken? What happens once they’ve been taken out?

Any insight would be great. Thank you

Depends on the size and location of the roots, but normally I'd do one side at a time. Putting you to sleep for it would be a bit drastic, sedation would be a better and safer option if you needed some extra help.
