Abscess still there after 10 day antibiotic course

I have an abscess above a broken tooth and have been taking Amoxicillin for ten days and the abscess is still there. I don't have an appointment for the extraction until the end of next month. Do I take another round of antibiotics or do I wait for my appointment? if the abscess is still there do you think it could be difficult to numb or risky to extract if still infected?

No point in taking more antibiotics. It'll be fine to wait and the abscess won't make any difference to the extraction.
