I have deleted this post as just as I had given up all hope and crying for help up here, this evening an email arrived saying that finally I have a referral to an occlusion specialist from a leading teaching hospital. I am now full of hope that my 11 year nightmare is going to end 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Reading your story and I don't even know what to say. You have been through way more than your share of dental nightmere with this.. I'm really sorry you are going through all this and can understand the hopelessness you might feel in this journey..

"All I want is to be able to eat normally without my other teeth crashing and cracking each other. I cannot find a dentist who is trained in occlusion none of them seem to know anything about how teeth are meant to come together or about how they function, this is absolutely terrifying. "

Not being able to eat properly is something I can identify with and its a constant problem and just makes one feel like breaking down and crying at times, its completely frustrating. again very sorry you have to go through this

Do you have a university near you? I have heard several people having great luck with going to the university and meeting with the prosthodontics professor. I have met with one myself and he was brilliant and explained things in a way no one else had. He had a very firm understanding of my situation . I was unable to go to him due to finances at the time. but I know there is one person on here that recently had many issues and went to a university prosthodontics professor and ultimately the staff there and is so happy with the turn around in care and function.

Just an idea ?
