Ok, so i have been petrified of the dentist for over 15years now.

No matter what i do i just cant shake my fear. I have spoke to specialists about various options with regards to the dental work i need but just cant bring myself to go.

My issue is that i am getting married soon and the tooth next to what i call my 'fang' is dead and has turned an off blue / grey colour. This is the only tooth that needs work as far as i am aware but it is really affecting my confidence.

I barely smile anymore without being embarrassed but in the past i have been happy with this sacrifice as it has meant that i can avoid the dentist!! how daft is that but now i would really like to smile on my wedding day without this tooth standing out like a sore thumb on all pictures.

No matter what i am going to avoid the dentist but can anyone reccommend anything that will cover this tooth for just one day.... anything..... something to stick on, cover, paint...

I have tried whitening with no luck.
Can someone please help me to smile on my wedding day.

:(

It's a really easy thing for a dentist to bleach the tooth back to the right colour. It doesn't involve any injections. Google "Walking Bleach". Is there really no way you could cope with it? Seems a shame to let it ruin your big day.

Thanks for your reply.

My issue is that the tooth has never had a root canal either as im that petrified. Would this procedure work if the tooth has never had any form of treatment?

Also can this be quiet costly?

Thanks again for the help

:)

root canal for an incisor is much cheaper, easier and more likely to be successful than for a back tooth. It's definitely cheaper than losing the tooth and Gordon's tight about walking bleaching, it's a nice easy treatment
Best of luck for your big day.
