Just wanted to share an update from my last thread where I was petrified of going to the dentist. After around 26 years of not going I finally went today. The dentist was absolutely lovely, presumed it had only been a few years! I told him I thought all my teeth needed to come out as I had bone loss and all my gums were ruined from gum disease- I have no gum disease and zero bone loss. I had an x-ray, he explained everything. I go back in 3 weeks for the 2 broken teeth to be removed at the back, one little filling at the back and some cleaning. I don't have cavities between my front teeth like I thought, it was just staining. To say I'm so proud & relieved is an understatement. I can't believe i did it. If you find a laid back and understanding dentist there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Good luck to everyone else on their journey
