Another Wisdom Tooth Question..

I kno I just posted bout the opposite wisdom tooth, but I also wanted to know if there is a certain time frame people get their wisdom teeth in?? I have 3 now, and am almost 26. I have seen the last on the xray for a couple yrs now and looks like it is just shy of the surface. From time to time my gland beneath my tooth will throb, so I think ok..its comin it. Then it goes away. Will it ever truly come in? Is this normal for it to start then stop again? And is it possable to get and infection there if the surface hasn't even broken yet?

i get wisdom teeth infections about once a year and deal with it my hot salty water and metronidozole from my dentist although he says i should really have it extracted
