Anything I can do for ulcers on tonsils?

I just tested positive for Covid this morning. I had a sore throat yesterday and it got progressively worse today. I also have had a fever and was pretty out of it for the past few days.
Tonight I looked at my throat with a flashlight because it is excruciating to swallow. I saw white ulcers on my tonsils. I did a home strep test and it was negative.
Is there anything I can do to relieve the pain? It hurts just to breathe and eating is impossible. I have some Vicks throat spray and it lasts about two minutes tops.

No Difflam available here but my dentist did write a script for lidocaine gel, not wash. It kind of works for awhile…better than nothing! Thanks for the suggestion!
