Walked into office and was given IV sedation (twilight sleep). I didnt think it was working at all as I was conscious for about a minute and talking normally...started to feel a bit drunk though. I thought maybe she missed the vein, but once the anesthesiologist asked about my job, I found myself in post op an hour later with the job done! No pain at all. I am going to get the other 3 wisdom teeth out asap.
Dont listen to these idiots that say you will suffer if you are over 40 and have your wisdoms out, just get a good referral of an oral surgeon that cares.
