4 weeks ago I had my top left wisdom tooth extracted and this week I have been having this strange feeling on that side as though my top back molar right next to the extraction site is sort of sticking out more than it should and is rubbing against my cheek. It is not painful, simply just feels a bit weird and uncomfortable. Is this a normal feeling to have?

Yes: the way your cheek "fits" against your teeth has been altered by the removal of the wisdom tooth. You'll get used to it in a couple of weeks.
