It went good! He injected in a slightly different place this time :) He used a white filling too, which is nice. It feels so odd when I bite down and the inside edges feel a bit jagged but I guess that is something hard to sort properly because you can't actually see it (or feel it with your finger!) I just feel it with my tongue. I'm going back in on Tuesday though, so I'll ask him to tidy the section up then.

I hope eventually the filling begins to feel more like tooth? At the moment, it sorta feels like it has plaque on it or something? It is quite odd to explain.

So, 2 down! Wooo :jump::jump:

Phewwwwwwwwwwwww :jump::jump::jump::jump::jump::jump::jump::jump::jump: I am so glad for you. The filling will smooth out by itself, they usually do. It will get to feel like any other tooth it just takes a bit for your mouth to get used to it. Your tongue will probably play with it until you forget it.

Congrats to you and your dentist the hero :superman::superman::superman::cheer::cheer::cheer::dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2::victory::dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2::yay::claps::claps::claps::yayy::perfect::butterfly:

Hello,
I just had two composite fillings put in too and they are VERY rough feeling even though the dentist sanded them down...I do not like the feel of them and my tongue is constantly messing with them..I hope they do smooth out by themselves..they feel like cement!
