I had my bottom wisdom tooth extracted on Sat. and last night I had bleeding on the molar beside it at the gumline and had to use gauze for awhile to get it to clot. I still have swelling and sensitivity on my bottom gums, even on the other side of the extraction, is this normal? I have been using saline afew times a day to clean my teeth and extraction site, brushing lightly no where near the extraction site and also syringing with the chlorhexidine rinse they gave me each day. I am going for my check up this sat. and hope it is healing fine, seems to be,just worried about my gums bleeding abit. I asked when I called to make my appt. and they said to now use heat instead of ice to help the swelling, too. Thank you.

It doesn't sound too worrying, try and relax about it.
