Bleeding weeks after extraction

Hello,
nearly 3 weeks ago the dentist extracted my third molar teeth due to infection. Yesterday I discovered white stuff and tried to pulled it. It started to bleed, and bleeding continued for 5 mins. I’m really very worried ? Why is it not healing? Please can anyone let me know ?.

Hi Rafia,

It takes months for the wound in an extraction area to fully heal. It is a very long process. The secretion of the white thing (probably fibrin) and some light bleeding is not an alarming signal at all.
