I do wish I could take more than tylenol for this pain.... I miss motrin. I wish he'd come out so I can take motrin again! lol

Maybe if the pain is getting worse maybe you should contact your dentist before Thursday and have him take a look. As far as I know the pain should be relieved by the painkillers, but I don't understand enough about pills to know what you are taking. Maybe a dentist on here may be able to give you some advice. If you see one of the dentists on here send them a pm, I am sure they will get back to you. Do you know who the dentists are on here?

Tylenol never works very well for me.. but it's all i can take while pregnant. It takes the edge off but it isn't an anti inflammatory like Motrin or Ibuprophen. And I refuse to take a narcotic while pregnant.. and avoid them even when i'm not...

I know the pain is most likely normal...for a few days. So I'm sure it's ok. It's just frustrating I can't take better meds. I was able to take motrin last year when I had it done.

I will ask the dentist about it if it doesn't get any better. It really doesn't feel worse. Sometimes it's ok sometimes it hurts. Might try some warm salt water.

I didn't have any infection in the tooth when they did it.. so they didn't put me on antibiotics or anything..

no I don't know who the dentists are.....

Hi again, the dentists on this forum are Dr Hirst, Gordon, Comfortdentist, and Dr Daniel, if I have missed anybody I am sorry. Dr Hirst and Dr Daniel have pictures, so we can see them, but Gordon and Comfortdentist do not so we are left guessing what they look like although you can see comfortdentist if you click on his link when he has made a post and read all about what he does and where.
