Can’t make the appointment

Ok..WOW. You just be proud of yourself for only needing one filling after that long! That’s extraordinary. I haven’t been since I was a child and I’m 45 and I’m terrified. I made appointments and canceled but I feel my teeth are getting worse and worse by the day.
I hope to be as brave as you and finally make an appointment and stick with it. This anxiety about it makes me sick, daily.

Thanks, but I’m not out the woods yet. I have an appointment with a periodontist next month. I’m quite anxious about that. Not sure what to expect or the outcome of that appointment. I have periodontal disease so that has me concerned of what the process will entail.

Hello, just a little update. I had a dentist appointment today to have a filling. Then I had a periodontal appointment in the afternoon. I’m scheduled to have LANAP surgery and have my wisdom teeth removed next month. Never thought I would have made this far.

Today was the day for my Lanap surgery and my three extractions. I had my two wisdom teeth and a molar removed. It took about 4 hours in all. I was just a little nervous. But it seem to go well. I didn’t have any pain afterwards, just numbness. I was out for most of it. I didn’t feel a thing. I could say “ I don’t know why I waited so long”but things happen at a certain time for a reason. Is all I can say.

Yesterday was my last check up from my Lanap surgery that I had in September of last year. I just need to go back for my cleanings now. My gum pocket measurements dropped significantly. I just had one that still a little high but overall it went well. The Periodontist and hygienist were pleased.
