Hi
I had X-rays less than a month ago I had one tooth extracted and my clean with the hygienist is next week. Other than that the dentist told me my teeth are all fine and healthy.
About a week ago I started using listerine mouthwash after brushing and now my teeth hurt ? Only when I eat and put pressure on them the only thing I’ve done any different is the listerine could that cause teeth to ache ?
im now worried incase ive suddenly developed a mouth full of problems in the space of 3 weeks 🙈
Thankyou !

Just to add I am a very nervous patient and although I can just about now manage to get through the work needed ( if it involves that drill I don’t do as well at all ) I have OCD and ADHD and my brain likes to go to worse case scenario. I have to mentally
Prepare myself for the work I’m having done and have a plan in my head I’m currently focusing on the cleaning appointment because if that sounds like the drill I know I’m going to struggle so now I’m worried there’s some hidden problem no one spotted and they are going to tell me I need a load more work 🤦🏼‍♀️
Thanks

Just in case any of Listerine's lawyers are reading this, the following is my personal opinion only :-)

I think the stuff is a complete waste of money and the best use for it is to clean drains with when you pour it down the sink :-)

It's possible you're having some kind of reaction to the Listerine, it's got quite a lot of alcohol in it for starters which can be a bit irritating to the mucosa at times. I don't think you've got any other dental problems that you need to worry about.

I happen to think all mouthwashes are a waste of money (other than for specific reasons diagnosed by a dentist) and really have no place in anyone's bathroom cabinet.
