Can someone tell me what it's like with gum recession and how you guys handle it?

Recently I found out from my dentist that 3 molars on the top have gum recession on the out side of the tooth, and it's worrisome. Can you guys explain your experience, the negatives and the positives and how y'all manage it today, that would be super appreciated

I have gum recession which leads to sensitivity but that can be combated with a toothpaste like sensodyne.

I don't know how much you have but if the root is exposed in any way you have to be very on top of your oral hygiene as it is much easier for tooth roots to get cavities.

I don't really have a list of pros and cons, sometimes it's a pain to floss as I'm trying to be super careful but it is what it is. You can always talk to your dentist about gum grafting and if and when that might be necessary.

@dentalnelly dude that super helpful, I'm getting braces to correct a wisdom teeth bite problem and then was looking into bonding procedures
