This is possibly the most stupid question asked here but I'll ask it anyway.

After the cold water rinsing I got today at the dentist it hurt so much, I really hated it!
It seems logical enough they'd be able to use warm water instead but I just didn't consider they would until today.

So if you tell a dentist your gums &/or teeth are generally quite sensitive to the cold water rinsing would they generally be willing to use warm water instead?

I don't see why not, my dentist asked me if I was sensitive to cold I wasn't but maybe they could slightly numb you if not use aired water. They are not very helpful where you go.

Some dental units have built in heaters for the air water syringe. In South Florida the water is never cold.
