Ive got a properly decayed tooth in the back half of its missing I don't know how it got this bad tbh but I need it removed and I was supposed to this month but it got moved to the 28th

Sometimes when I put my tounge on it, it hurts and then I can taste a very horrible taste I cant really describe it

Is that normal for tooth decay or is this unrelated

Also another question is about anaesthetic, for a top back tooth will my entire mouth and throat and tounge be numbed cut Im dreading the numb bit most

I'm worried ill choke on my tounge or something stupid like that (ik its not rational)

It's not decay, it's the gunge coming out of what's left of the nerve chamber. The nerve will have died and broken down and there'll be bacteria and dead cells coming out.

No.
