What level of expertise does an intern have like for a wisdom tooth extraction that touches the sinuses

Interns are first year residents that must work under guidance and supervision. In Canada and in the United States of America it seems you would need to hold a DDS or DMD from a school, in Canada or the United States of America, before joining an oral surgeon program. They would have more academic knowledge than a regular dentist.
