I don’t have insurance right now so I wanted to see if I should pay out of pocket to be seen. (I know I should always consult a dentist for a real diagnosis) but I’ve never had a cavity and I’m 26. This showed up on my front tooth after not brushing my teeth for 4 days (I had covid-19, I literally felt like I was dying.) now I’m panicking! Is this a chip, or a cavity on my front right tooth?

I posted this in the nervous post because I’m honestly terrified.

I'm not a dentist so hopefully one of our experts will be able to help, but I do know a cavity takes alot longer than 4 days to develop. It could be a stain? Its hard to tell on the picture.

Looks more like staining than a cavity to me.
