I had three teeth extracted on the lower right side of my mouth this week. Two were extra teeth which had erupted, and they were a piece of cake to remove. The wisdom tooth at the very back was under the skin, and it had to be surgically extracted and then stitches put on. I believe these were tooth # 44 45 & 48.
But later things took a turn for the worst, as soon as the freezing wore off, I was in a world of hurt. I've been taking pain killers and antibiotics few times a day. My right cheek is still swollen, and quite painful to mouth movement, such as chewing. In fact, I can't even open my mouth completely.
It's been 5 days since the surgery; is this normal or a cause for concern?
