My dentist suggested I get a CT to see if the bottom right wisdom tooth is intertwined with the nerve or not. What does it look like to you? If there is a risk of damaging the nerve should I still considering taking it out? What alternative options do I have? If I just leave it in there, is it going to affect/cause decay?

I have a similar concern except my wisdom teeth have the nerves on the roots. Haven't gotten mine out yet. From what I've googled and researched, CT scan will give you a 3D image so it will show where the nerves are in relation to your teeth. You can't tell with the xrays you've posted. So definitely get the scan and see what your oral surgeon says.
