Hi, everyone, I am due to have my two bottom first and second molars surgically extracted Monday morning. Saturday morning I wake up and ta da! There is a new cold sore (first time this has ever happened before a dental appointment).
Will this prevent them working on me? I have it covered in Carmex and will keep it so. It is not festered, just a tingly bump right now.
I plan to call them Monday morning but sometimes they do not answer. Should I just go in anyway or would that be a bad idea? If I simply do not go in and cannot get ahold of them before my appointment time, I might get charged for an office visit even if I cannot show up.
Any ideas if anyone has worked with this or had this come up so I know what to do and expect.
Thanks!
