Cracked tooth—what can I do to prevent it getting worse while waiting for a crown?

Title says all. I’ve got about 3 weeks until my appointment comes, and I think I may have a crack in the meantime. I’m worried about a part of it breaking off. Is there anything I can do, aside from eating on the other side of my mouth (which I’m already doing)?

Nope, nothing much that you can do at all. Just be a bit careful biting into things when chewing and that's it.
