A few months ago, I fell in the shower and fractured a few of my teeth. It was an awful journey to restore those teeth but finally, I have my permanent crowns. The last appointment was on March 26th. Since then, I am still unable to eat food that I have been craving for so long (like a sandwich or burger) I am so afraid that I'll break my teeth again. When will I feel back to normal? Also, I get a weird film on my teeth sometimes when I eat. Picture below. I brush my teeth after each meal, or if I'm at work I brush them as soon as I am home. I have a LOT of dental problems and am missing teeth due to poor dental hygiene but over the last few months, I have taken better care than ever before. I also have a ton of anxiety, I know I need to get the rest taken care of but since November, I have been to dental specialists so many times. I just need a little break. Anyway, it's been less than two months since my final crowns were put on but when am I going to feel comfortable like my teeth aren't foreign in my mouth?

I'm sorry, that's up to you and your subconscious. There's no dental reason why you can't eat whatever you want to.

So it's all in my head? That's what people are saying, but I don't know how to get over this fear. Let me tell ya, this sucks.

I'm afraid so. It's not really a dental issue. Hypnosis or CBT would probably help.
