"Laura is our principal dentist. She qualified from the University of Cardiff in 2005 (BDS, GDC No. 85252), having won the British Dental Association DENTSPLY student of the year award in final year and the Magdalene Morgan Scholarship for her elective project. During her vocational training year she won the West of Scotland Vocational Dental Practitioner case presentation from the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) Scotland.
Laura went on to complete General Professional Training within the Community Dental Services (CDS) in Dumfries then worked in the Oral Surgery Department at Glasgow Dental Hospital. She subsequently achieved a postgraduate diploma in conscious sedation from University of Newcastle in 2008, gaining a merit in the process. In January 2010 Laura was appointed as part time Senior Dental Officer in Special Care Dentistry at Dumfries Dental Centre. Laura particularly values using her knowledge and skills to the benefit of anxious and phobic patients."
