There’s a possibility that I may have to get dentures in the future because I deal with chronic acid reflux and have not found a solution to it yet. I’ve changed my diet and tried to reduce stress but I’m still struggling with acid reflux every single day. Before this my teeth weren’t perfect but they still looked pretty good and now because of this health condition that I have no control over I have to somehow accept that dentures may be in my future. If I end up with fake teeth it will not be from a lack of hygiene it will be because of this health condition because I take very good care of my teeth. Are dentures unattractive? Will it prevent me from ever finding love? I personally do not judge people for their teeth and would date someone even if they had false teeth. I just feel like if I get dentures I’ll be inferior to other women who have good teeth. I’ll never have what they have. I just want to be loved and not judged for something that I had no control over.

Dentures look like teeth and you can't tell from looks that they are dentures. Nobody will be able to see it's a denture. So imagining you really get dentures one day, your date won't be able to tell unless you decide to tell them. Finding love has nothing to do with looks or dentures or not. It's about chemistry and bond between two people, about what you have to say to each other, about having fun together, feeling emotionally close and yeah, it's about attraction, but as a whole person and not parts of the body. Btw. kissing with denture is no different than with natural teeth either, in case you were wondering. We have a short thread about it here.
Still, losing all teeth, is not that easy, not even with acid reflux (and not even with drinking soda for a prolonged time). Once you become able to consult a dentist about this, you may find out that there are other solutions to dealing with tooth damage.
