28 female and never went to the dentist as a kid..Ok so I go for my deep cleaning today as I have slight gum disease and it was recommended due to me neglecting to go to the dentist due to fears of what if.. I’m terrified to lose my teeth and brush/floss daily. honestly they’re not bad just need some cavities filled and a tooth pulled.. today we start with my deep cleaning though and I’m terrified of feeling the needle.. the side effects of nitrous (vomiting on my dentist etc) I’ve went down the google rabbit hole and unfortunately I’m already so nervous I’m shaking and still have a couple hour till my appointment.. do your gums reattach even with some bone loss?? Will my teeth fall out?(I know they can feel loss) I’m all around probably making it way worse than it actually is and will feel silly after but anxiety is a nasty friend..

do your gums reattach even with some bone loss??
Nope, once the bone is gone, it's gone, what you want to do is stop any more loss before it gets severe. It's a slow process and usually takes decades to cause any big issues.

Will my teeth fall out?
No.

Thank you for replying! My appointment went well and my gums already look healthier (as what dentist said) I go back in 8 week to measure and make sure all is well!

Great, thanks for updating. :thankyou:
