I was advised I had loose teeth and required a deep clean in 2022. I was booked to see the hygienist every 3 months . I did this during 2023 and couldnt face the deep clean for feat of the injections . Well my husband let the hygienist do his deep clean in dec 23 and said it wasnt so bad .....so I awaited out next hygienist app in Feb 24 and I said let's do this . So the injections are not deep like for a filling or extraction very small ones close to the tooth and honestly dont hurt. I had my top injected and deep cleaned I was very proud I had managed to have this done ...
But sad that I didnt know they were tiny injections and I may have allowed this earlier . I then had a further deep clean in May and then was advised I wont need another my gums are getting better whoop wooo. .......for all fearing a deep clean please dont it's really really easy

Honestly, this makes me feel a bit better for my appointment today. I have a deep cleaning to help with slight gum disease.. I’m absolutely terrified of needles and people being in my mouth in general. I nearly passed out while getting an xray done.. I’m hoping today goes as smooth as yours did! Congrats on taking the step closer to a healthy mouth!

I cross my heart it was tiny tiny injections . Done twice now . How your is as easy

@Jackieallen just wanted to update! Everything went well and I didn’t want the infections so we just did a numbing mouth wash(didn’t numb too well) but even without being completely numbed it was that bad for even my sensitive teeth!
