Dental Implant Safety Long Term?

Based on all of your research/opinions, are titanium implants safe long term? I'm young (30) and am debating on getting an implant for bottom molars that I lost. I'm just worried if they will affect my health long term?

Implants have an excellent long term safety record.
The oldest implants I have seen are 33 years old. I still see implants that I restored back in the mid 1990's and I have never yet seen a case where implants have been bad for someones general health
